Dymax light-cure maskants are designed to address the growing industry challenges involved with rotorcraft component manufacturing and maintenance. During processing, rotorcraft components must be protected from various surface treatment processes such as plating, grit blasting, and thermal barrier coating. Dymax SpeedMask® light-curable maskants protect machined, ground, or polished surfaces during processes and replace labor-intensive tape, wax, solvent-based lacquers, and fixture applications. Our formulations have no solvents added and offer a greener, more environmentally friendly alternative.
Dymax SpeedMask® cure in seconds upon exposure to LED/UV/Visible light. They are easy to apply, require a single coat, conform to complex shapes, and are easily incorporated into automated systems. Cured maskants can be removed by peeling or incineration and leave no residue on non-porous surfaces when properly cured.

UV-curable maskant with color change from blue to pink upon cure. This resin is resistant to plating, anodizing, air plasma spray, grit blasting, and shot peening. This product remains flexible at higher temperatures and can be removed by peeling after exposure to heat.

SpeedMask 758-H maskant is formulated for UV/Visible and LED light curing to provide good protection during chemical milling/etching, plating, anodizing, and aggressive grit-blasting operations.

Rapid UV-curable maskant with moderate adhesion for surface protection. This product remains flexible at higher temperature processes. This maskant cures upon exposure to UV/Visible light and is easily removed with a hot-water soak, leaving no residue on non-porous sufaces.

Highly visible green maskant with good surface protection during plating and aggressive grit blasting, shot-peening, and anodizing processes. 100% organic, this thixotropic gel cures upon exposure to UV/Visible light and easily removed by peeling after a hot water soak.
734-BT
UV/Visible light-curable blue maskant provides good surface protection during harsh chemical environment processes. This product is impervious to most acid and alkali solutions. The masking resin is trimmable after cure and can be peeled off.
750
High-Temperature pink maskant for thermal-spray coating with resistance to blast media. This maskant cures tack-free upon exposure to UV/Visible light to form hard, durable bonds on substrate surfaces. Maskant is easily removed by incineration.
