MD® 112-MSK-UR-SC airway management adhesive cures in seconds with UV/Visible light to rapidly bond PVC and other substrates typically used in the manufacture of airway management devices.
Formulated with Encompass® technology which combines Dymax patented See-Cure color-change technology with Dymax Ultra-Red® fluorescing technology into one light-curable product. Adhesives with See-Cure dispense bright blue onto substrates for easy confirmation of material placement. Upon exposure to sufficient light energy, the blue color transitions to colorless, indicating a complete cure. Ultra-Red technology enables MD® 112-MSK-UR-SC to fluoresce bright red under low-intensity black light (365 nm). The red color contrasts extremely well on plastics that naturally fluoresce blue in color (like PVC), also greatly assisting with visual inspection of the bond-line area.
This self-leveling Newtonian formulation also meets 10933-5 cytotoxicity biocompatibility approval. Bondable substrates include PVC, PC, PS, SEBS, ABS, and PETG, as well as SAN.
