LED-Curable Medical Adhesive for Plastic and Metal

MD^® 1404-M-UR needle bonding adhesive cures with either a 385 nm or 405 nm UV wavelength light source for rapid bonding of substrates typically used in the manufacturing of medical device assemblies and needles/syringes. This low-wicking, higher-viscosity product is easily dispensed onto components. Formulated with Ultra-Red^® technology, the material fluoresces bright red under low-intensity black light (365 nm). The bright red fluorescence contrasts extremely well on plastics that naturally fluoresce blue in color (like PVC), and greatly assists with visual inspection of the bond-line area. 1404-M-UR needle bonding adhesive bonds to stainless steel, PC, PS, ABS, PA, and PMMA, as well as PP.
