Catheter and Guidewire Medical Adhesive with Secondary Heat Cure

MD^® 203A-CTH-F catheter adhesive cures in seconds upon exposure to UV/Visible light and also cures with heat in applications where shadow areas exist. The product rapidly bonds metals typically used in the manufacture of catheters and guidewires. The adhesive meets various 10993 biocompatibility approvals and also features good impact resistance. For easy quality in-line inspection, the material fluoresces blue under low-intensity black light (365 nm). Bondable substrates include stainless steel, aluminum, Nitinol, PA, PU, and ABS, as well as glass.
