For applications where shadow areas exist, MD® 203A-CTH-F-T catheter adhesive cures rapidly upon exposure to UV/Visible light and then with secondary heat cure. This impact-resistant product rapidly bonds metals typically used in the manufacture of catheters and guidewires. For easy visual in-line inspection of the bond line, the adhesive fluoresces blue under low-intensity black light (365 nm). Bondable substrates include stainless steel, aluminum, nitinol, PA, PU, and ABS, as well as Glass.
