UV & LED Curing Adhesive For Electric Vehicle Batteries

Dymax 9501-F is a UV/Visible light-curing adhesive optimized for LED curing at 385nm designed for electric vehicle battery potting and bonding. This material provides a highly reliable bond for cylindrical cells to the base of the battery pack. This colorless adhesive has no solvents added and will fluoresce blue upon exposure to low-intensity 365nm blacklight for inspection. Its ability to cure in seconds enables faster processing, greater output, and lower processing costs. 

This light curable adhesive is thermal shock resistant and retains strength under high temperature and high humidity environments which is vital to the performance of EV batteries. 9501-F is suitable for EV battery potting and structural bonding applications with excellent adhesion to metal and plastic substrates. This includes nickel-plated metals, aluminum, ABS, PC, and PC/ABS blends.

When cured with Dymax light-curing spot lamps, focused-beam lamps, or flood lamps, 9501-F delivers optimum speed and performance for battery assemblies and structural applications.
